Delayed, but RE: Naruto 500: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. ;^; S-SOMUCHCUTEICAN'THANDLEIT *KEYBOARD SMASHES*

SO. Chris and Sheva are in this dock-warehouse thing, and they learn that the place is set to blow up. There's no way out, so Sheva suggests, "Let's dive under those wooden mannequins for protection!" ...which... what. Yes, there happened to be a pile of wooden mannequins nearby, the kind you'd see in window shops. So they dive under them and the place blows up -- the two of them emerge entirely unscathed EXCEPT for a cut on Chris' temple. Sheva sees this and immediately freaks out because OMG IT'S A FATAL WOUND. D:

Again. What.

Then suddenly Jill's there, and she also realizes/thinks it's a fatal wound, so she stays by Chris' side and holds his hand and admits that she's loved him for years.

The end. wtf.

But even BETTER than that? I dreamed that Ezio and Rodrigo Borgia were going to settle their dispute through a game of ping-pong. They had 299 wins each and were going for the SUDDEN DEATHMATCH to finally put an end to their rivalry and wthhh idek anymore.

Now that THAT crack is out of my system--

Lately, my sisters have been set on trying to write, and they want to start with fanfiction. They keep asking me if I have any ideas, and how I get ideas myself, and really, I... kind of fail in that regard. I told them that I get inspiration from all over the place; either from scenes omitted in canon, from What Could Have Been possibilities, or sometimes just out of nowhere. FFFFFFF if anyone has better advice to give, I'd dig it. They've only said that they don't want to write action just yet, and would prefer to try their hand at a video game 'verse first, as they're less complicated in terms of character development than, say, anime/manga.

Also, Day has both thrilled and terrified me by threatening to saying she's thinking of dropping Lisa Trevor in my musebox to terrify me Jill. And adds that she's gonna wait until I forget that she ever mentioned it before doing so, thus catching me off guard and scarring me even further.

THEY TAKE AFTER ME SO WELL. ♥ I might have to make a random post for Jill there, now, just so she can jump me a year from now and scare the crap out of me.

It usually starts with one idea and a single character. And the desire to want to know more about said character, possibly in general, possibly in relation to other people. There's no real clear-cut way to be inspired to write anything. It just kind of happens most of the time. Flexible but inspiring prompts help sometimes too, especially if you get really good ones to work with. Other than that, I can't really put into words how the fic ideas come.

*nods* I suggested that they just think of a character they're interested in first, and then try to think of a situation from there that they'd like to see that character in, buuut you're a lot more poetic than me, it seems. |D <3

Aww, shucks. That wasn't at all poetic. Although that might explain why my crap's always so long.

I'm probably gonna be thinking about how to explain it better the rest of the night. 8P

Long with AWESOME~

XD; Don't think TOO hard, now. I got it, though. I'll relay it as best I can?

Speaking of which, I need to finish some awesome before I forget about it completely. >>;

Lol, all the same I'll still be thinking about it if not for my own reference. The process of how these things happen are interesting in and of themselves and might, perhaps, ultimately help me with my own writing. *always trying to improve~*

...Ahahaha, you don't...want to get me starting on giving advice to people who are trying to write...but to keep it short, this basically says everything I'd want to say anyway:

I'll look forward to seeing what they come up with. :] Though...TBH, I really don't think video game characters are ALWAYS less complicated character-development-wise than anime/manga...it really depends on the game and anime/manga, and the characters as well.

XD Ah, Mr. King. Your wisdom knows no bounds.

TRUFAX on that, but their words, lol.

He is really, seriously pretty amazing. His book On Writing...omg YES. ♥ When I was younger, before I'd actually READ anything by him, I'd always assumed he was just a hack, like (to use a CURRENT example) James Patterson, but...now that I've ACTUALLY READ some of his works...just, Wow. -*___*-

To make it more fanfic-focused rather than I Want To Be A Professional/Published Writer ...ish...I'd say Tao has the right of it. They should pick a character they feel like they know and understand, and go from there. My first big essay into the World of Fanfic was "My Point of Weakness" (...which...is pretty awful by my standards today, yeah, BUT EVERYONE STARTS SOMEWHERE K), and I started writing it because at the time it was The Story I'd Always Wanted To Read. I was having a LOT of trouble finding good, IC SasuSaku fic, so I decided I'd just have to write one for myself. :]

XD I'M JEST SAYIN'~ 'Cause yeah, someone like Noelle from TotA is way less-developed than, say, Sakura from Naruto...but Yuri from ToV is a HELL of a lot more developed than someone like Shino or Tenten or MOST of the Naruto cast, really, because ffff Kishi fails a LOT at fleshing out his characters, probably because he has about 3,490,583 of them now
