Wesker intended to fuck her over as well as he could, body and mind--she was supposed to be different, changed, if not the opposite of what she was prior to 2006, and this was made most obvious in A) oh I don't know HER APPEARANCE, MAYBE. THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE. B) her fighting style, and C) her (lack of a) personality. Fans having a shit over what she came out as proved that WESKER DID IT RIGHT, ZOMFG. SEE? CAPCOM DOES KNOW WHAT IT'S DOING, TROLLS. Except when it comes to putting Sentinel in MvC3 what the hell

Just. Augh. I'm so sick of all these insults at Capcom and proclamations that Jill's look was redone to appeal to younger males (wtfh that even means I'll never know) over something so STUPID when really, Jill didn't change at all for the most part--appearances can change, as we've SEEN, and aside from physical and emotional scarring, she's still the same chick. :\ This crap is temporary and was really done for the OMG WTF?! confusion factor when you first see her. Nothing more. Now sit down, stfu, and move on.

What's even more? The fact that she's P-30'd is easily the only reason she's making it INTO this game. As her normal self, she would have been way too similar to Chris--he would have replaced her. Under P-30, though, she's more of a middle ground between Chris and Wesker. So, really, you should be thankful to this little change for even getting her in here. B|

I was reading the latest Game Informer magazine and in the same vain for "their appearance was changed to fit a younger audience" was mentioned about Claire and Jill for Mercenaries/Revelations. I kind of stared at the letter that was sent to them about it and was like "Dude, Claire's outfit is actually the original Code: Veronica outfit. They just updated to look more modern while keeping a similar style and appeal to the 90's."

Jill's outfit in Revelations, though, looks A LOT like her battle suit in RE5. I will give them that much, but I don't think it's to "appeal to younger male audience." :|

TBH, I did roll my eyes at Jill's concept art for Revelations at first, but... they ARE on a ship, and I think her outfit passes for a wetsuit, so that's what I figure. Plus Capcom just likes getting its ladies in the tightest clothes possible; I don't buy into these marketing schemes accusations at all.

Yeah I was like "...Claire's showing off cleavage? She was in the original game too. And showing off her stomach. Really? Okay then." Blew my mind.

I giggled mostly because Chris looks like he stepped out of Call of Duty, but he is also wearing a wetsuit under his outfit. There's probably a good reason for it to be sleek and easy to move in. I don't buy the marketing accusations either.
