I fiiiiinally got around to watching Constantine this weekend ahahaha I swear I am the most behind person ever when it comes to things it was made in like 2005 wtf, and two points:

1) A shotgun flamethrower shaped like a cross is officially one of the Most Awesome Things I Have Ever Seen.

2) I'm probably the only person who nearly got teary at the end. Twice.

Ooooh, I ADORE Constantine! It's seriously my favourite Keanu Reeves' movie - it's well directed, original, fun and scary at the same time and the actors are amazing (Tilda Swindon as Gabriel is awesome and I love Lucifer "Lu"). I cried too, don't worry ;)

Thor is nice too, mostly because the main character is hotness personified, and the love story is cute.
However between the two I prefer Constantine ;)

Hee <3 See, despite everyone snickering at me when I say so, I DO like Keanu Reeves, but I thought he was excellent in this one -- he didn't have any of that kind-of-awkward quality that he usually does and I thought he did John excellently.

AUGH THE END WAS JUST SO BAWWW. ;w; The line "I know I'm not one of Your favorites -- I'm not even allowed in Your house -- but I could use a little attention right now" just kiiiiilled meeee. DX I always get misty-eyed when people with God Issues suddenly turn to Him, so... And then you add the deal John made with Lucifer after that and the fact that I'm a total sucker for the Heroic Sacrifice, and. Bawwwww.

lol RARELY do I watch a movie and immediately think "I MUST OWN THIS," but I'm definitely gonna go find me a copy in the $5 bin at Wal-Mart or smth.

I like Keanu Reeves too, but I admit he's not one of my fav actors - however I think he outdid himself in Constantine. ^^
Well, the part I loved the most of the finale was when Lucifer realised he was going to lose John and John was going into Paradise and gave him the finger - AWESOME! I loved also the dark side of angels such as Gabriel - I'm not christian but I was, so I believe I can look at religion in a detatched way that makes me appreciate all the more films like this ^^

HA yes, that was so epic. X'D I also loved the part at the very end where he's narrating, and then it looks like he's taking out another cigarette and I'm like "YOU FREAKING MORON WTF ARE YOU DOING YOU WERE JUST CURED OF YOUR CANCER AND NOW YOU'RE GOING TO--...oh, wait, it's gum. |D NEVER MIIIIND." It was a neat little LOL JK moment.

Hee, Christian though I am, I'm used to reading/seeing a variety of takes on it in different media, so I didn't mind Constantine's take; it was an interesting new view, to say the least.
