Eeeeeeeeeeeeee the Nintendo 3DS is out in less than two weeks! :DDD NOW IF ONLY MERCS WILL HURRY UP AND GET HERE, TOO. Wantwantwant.
So I read somewhere that if you shot Jill with a weaker handgun when she did her ninja run up the wall in her bossfight, you could actually knock her off. Being who I am, I set out to try it, and after three humiliating (but awesome) asskickings from Wesker, I FINALLY made it to the two-on-one fight. Now, I've developed some Mad Jill-Grabbing Skillz as Sheva, so I assumed that if I hung back and goofed around, Chris would do the same. Nooooot so. I felt a bit of an unspoken "SCREW YOU, SHEVA" every time he just ran forward, called to Jill, and grabbed her himself. The first couple times, I humored him and pulled at the dang thing, but once it began to spark and she STILL hadn't run up the wall, I stopped and just kinda hung around.
Dude. I know that if Sheva grabs Jill and Chris doesn't interact quick enough, Jill will headbutt her and attempt to punch her in the face. I totes did NOT know that if the positions were switched, Jill actually kicks backwards and up to nail Chris in the crotch. That was hilariously delightful. Not even gonna lie. |D
Anyway, so Jill finally runs up the wall, but I miss my chance. B| So another couple minutes go by, I get my chance again, and shoot her in the back. Poor thing drops like a rock, nearly landing on Chris, and then sits up and hisses at him before resuming her run-around. lol whoops. IT WAS WORTH IT. 8D But Capcom would have gotten +10,000 points and a confession of love from me if Jill were able to actually land on Chris and knock him over. Another 5,000 if he used the chance to just wrestle her down.
So, satisfied, I go on to proceed with freeing her, and when Chris flips Jill onto the floor (which lmao is still one of the top reasons why Chris is so totally The Man: he is NOT afraid to get rough when he has to. :| <3), he immediately tells me to "KEEP HER PINNED!" as he always does; curious, I wonder if there's a way to get him to do it instead, and I happen to notice that his status is still on "cover." For the heck of it, I try to set him to "attack."
Now. As you all know, Chris is very calm and determined through this whole fight, even if you can obviously tell he has a very personal stake in it. But the second I tell him to "Go!", he immediately yells, "YOU'RE GOING TO KILL HER!" And. Dude. His voice all but breaks there. IT WAS SO, SO SAD AND WORRIED SOUNDING and it made me do some kind of verbal keyboard smashing that sounded something like "hackagabawwwaughdatahI'MSORRY! ;_;" before I immediately jumped on Jill to get that stupid thing off. Just. BUH. <333 R.C. SMITH, YOU REMAIN SO WONDERFULLY TALENTED I LOVE YOUR VOICE SKILLZ SO, SO MUCH <333333
AND SPEAKING OF THE BEAUTY THAT IS R.C. SMITH'S MANLEH VOICE, we were screwing around with the audio clips in MvC3 and DUDE Chris' and Wesker's voice clips to Jill before and after battle are already in there, haaaaaaaaaah. Wesker's a disregarding douche and Chris is concerned but professional one more reason why he > Leon in this gameand always /OH GO GIVE THEM A LISTEN. >:| ...Or just wait until tomorrow, when Jill is HOPEFULLY downloadable, as she's been delayed in Japan due to that earthquake of Evil. 8C But her official video is still delightful, and it seems she also underwent the usual Fighting Game treatment in being made a bit more verbal than she really is while P30'd, but eh whatever that's how it rolls. ♥ +1,000 POINTS IF SHE HISSES, CAPCOM.
Also. Morrigan's accent is kinda the coolest thing ever. I think I ship her and Chris in a weird, crossover-y way. And whoever designed Spidey's tenth mission needs to be punched in the face. As does the doofus who said HUR DUR LET'S PUT SENTINEL IN THE GAME AND MAKE HIS DEFAULT HEAVY ATTACK AN EASILY SPAMMABLE BEAM 8F

Awww, I loved that part. He had such a "NOT AGAIN" look about him. 8C And HEE did you see them in the final scene of episode 4? She was hanging on him with her arms around his neck, and he had this o_O; face going on. SO CUTE. <3
