First -- WHO IS THIS ANNOYING LADY?? I thought it was Ada and everyone's thinking it's Ada, but... It sounds like a different VA (which means nothing, I know, VAs switch all the time in things), she doesn't dress like Ada (hardly any red, no butterfly motif, wtf is that low-cut shirt), and while Ada is far from being a good person, she's not cruel -- this ho is going around infecting people with a smile and mocking Chris while doing it. :| Either Ada suddenly snapped, or this is someone else -- and I do wonder, if it is Ada, why they didn't just confirm it with Leon's obligatory "ADA!" reaction when he first sees her.

I really hope it's NOT Ada because if it is then NOOOOOOOOOO, SHE'S BECOME ONE OF THOSE LAME "LOOK AT ME, LET ME SHOW OFF MY BOOBS EVEN WHEN I AM WALKING AROUND IN FREEZING, SNOWY WEATHER" CHICKS. DDDDDD8 I HATE THOSE.

As for Jake, AKA Wesker Junior, AHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT IS AMAZING. I SERIOUSLY MADE THIS STARTLED GASP/KEYBOARD SMASH SOUND WHEN SHE SAID WESKER WAS HIS FATHER. And now I gotta speculate -- as soon as she said that, my first reaction was "....THAT'S TOTALLY A METAPHOR, RIGHT. THIS GUY'S JUST A CLONE OF WESKER, NOT AN *ACTUAL* SON PRODUCED THROUGH NATURAL MEANS, RIGHT." But then I sat in my thinking chair



and got to, well, thinking.

Hollywood likes to pretend like human clones can just be ~magically made~ -- you get some blood from someone, put it in a tube of weird-looking fluid, and OUT comes a clone of that person, appearing to be the SAME age as that person, regardless of whether they're five or fifty.

INCORRECT. When clones are made, they still have to go through the embryo -> fetus -> infant -> kid -> young adult -> adult process, just like everyone else, unless some alternate, high-tech, nature-defying means are discovered five hundred years from now.

Now, as anal as I am, I'm gonna assume RE will be smart about it (...) and, in the event of there being human clones, have them grow up as they would/should normally. In that case, if Jake IS a clone, and he's about 25 or so, I'm guessing... it would make sense if he lived out 25 or so whole years like a relatively normal person, since he's not... y'know. X-23 or anything. He seems psychologically and socially normal. Of course, this would also mean that Wesker was approximately 25 himself when this clone was made.

BUT, when Wesker was 25, he was nothing particularly special -- just one of hundreds of Wesker children test subjects. So why clone him specifically when it wasn't even yet known if he'd survive the first viral treatments? To that end, they (whoever "they" are) would had to have cloned ALL the Wesker kids, which would've taken a LOT of time, money, resources, attempts, and ultimately lives and surrogate mothers (and, consequently, a much higher risk that someone could talk and word could get out of their intentions, no matter how tight security was). Why bother when they had hundreds of Wesker kids already, and they could just clone the successful ones later, once they were deemed worthy? I know the Evil Scientists of this series don't mind going out on a limb sometimes, but this is just plain impractical.

So that put a dent in my clone hypothesis.

Then I thought okay, Wesker would have been approximately 25 when Jake was born -- and that was before he became Super Wesker, so heck, what if he did knock some woman up in his younger years? Accidentally, of course, and without knowing it -- otherwise he'd probably have hunted the kid down to use his genes for some purpose or another.

...I DON'T KNOW. AND NOW I WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER (OMG THEY MOVED THE DATE UP BY ALMOST TWO MONTHS, YAAAAAAY) TO FIND OUT. B|
