May. 24th, 2011 08:38 pmIn my opinion, writing -- let alone releasing -- an anti-troops song painting the men and women in service as monsters should get a person beheaded.
It's one thing if you want to abuse the "free speech" notion like so many people do. But if you insist that you absolutely HAVE to sit and whine on your celebrity perch about something you don't understand, supposedly under the defense that you're representing "wars in general, not a specific one," especially do not do it when this country is in the middle of a war. It's inconsiderate, it's ignorant, and it shows the country what complete douchebags you are.
So in my opinion, idiots like that should be tried with treason. Or at least dragged through the streets. But hey, I'm just an American with a mind and a sense of silly little things like gratitude and loyalty. Perhaps I'm the idiot for not putting down the people who risk their lives for me every day.
Excuse me while I go salute the flag in my yard like the stupid patriot I am.
